Larix Capital Partners, LLC ("Larix") is a private investment firm composed of family offices, successful business builders and accomplished investors. We are not traditional private equity. We look to create significant long-term value by partnering with strong businesses and exceptional management teams. We are flexible, patient capital looking to help facilitate the next phase of growth in lower-middle-market businesses with a demonstrated history of strong performance.
The Larix team offers more than 150 years of combined investing and operating experience in the healthcare space. Larix team members have contributed to successful outcomes in companies across a broad range of healthcare verticals and business life cycle stages. This breadth of experience allows Larix to form and execute strategies for growth with an appreciation for the challenges that healthcare services businesses face.
OUR FOCUS
Larix is an ideal partner for family-owned enterprises, business owners, large shareholders, and management teams looking to explore majority/minority recapitalizations, management-led buyouts, outright sales, and business-unit carve-outs. When evaluating opportunities we look to build partnerships with management teams to make control investments in lower-middle market healthcare services businesses.
We provide an attractive alternative to traditional private equity in situations where we can provide liquidity to owners as well as capital to facilitate growth, while creating meaningful and motivating equity opportunities for selling shareholders and key management.
By our flexible mandate and long-term investment perspective, we are open to special situations that may be considered terminally-unique by traditional private equity investors.

Carl brings to Larix more than 25 years of operations, advisory, corporate development, and investing experience, including the sourcing and execution of transactions in the lower-middle market segments of the healthcare, software, packaging, automation, and specialty manufacturing industries, many of those transactions involved negotiations with the founder/owner/operating families of the target companies.
Daniel Schwartz

Daniel brings to Larix more than 35 years of experience in senior leadership and operating roles including C-suite positions at both private and public companies in the healthcare space. Daniel has led the growth and scaling of organizations across a diversified portfolio of companies in the healthcare arena including senior housing, home care, skilled home healthcare, hospice, and medical adult day care.

Ben is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Chartline Partners, a Wilmington, Delaware-based venture capital firm that invests in high growth B2B technology companies in the digital health, retail analytics, telecom infrastructure, digital industrial and food supply chain industries. Ben leads Chartline’s origination and portfolio support activities, an important element of which is connecting Chartline’s portfolio companies with strategic partners, customers, and co-investors.
